Having played with a preproduction model, they aren't really the same beast... OMM's are super light, whereas these are more of a standard, high quality, mid-lite weight sack... very nice though...
I'd agree with that. Different beasts. I have a OMM Adventure Light 20 litre and a new PODsac Granite 25. Once is a running pack the other a climbing pack. The OMM is lighter, the POD tougher. The Granite is an inverted teardrop shape, so you get clearance for your harness - although I've yet to test that function. Only seen the Alpine series.
