HK - Made in Sheffield officially launched in March 2021, with a range of UK made sweaters promoting our ethical and environmentally friendly ethos. We have had a fantastic response from our customers and received a lot of positive feedback, and for that we are extremely grateful. Five months on from launching the new brand and following the success of our sweater range, we are excited to share with you our latest products and plans for the future. Introducing the Recycled Nylon Range

If you follow us on Instagram or Facebook you will have already seen our new recycled nylon leggings and shorts. A quick look at the recycled nylon range:

• Full length leggings and mid thigh length shorts available in three colours; slate, burgundy and blue.
• Made from 78% recycled nylon and 22% lycra.
• Made in our all electric workshop in Sheffield.
• £2.50 from the sale of every pair of leggings/shorts is donated to the Marine Conservation Society.

HK - Made in Sheffield is a small business, run by just myself (Hebe) and my partner. Those closest to me will know how important charity is to me personally. That is why I have built in charitable donations into my business model. For each sweater sold, £2 is donated to homelessness charities in Sheffield, and for each pair of leggings or shorts, £2.50 is donated to the Marine Conservation Society. This equates to roughly 10% of our profits. Plastic pollution in our oceans is a huge problem, and this is why we have decided to support the Marine Conservation Society in fighting for a cleaner, better protected, healthier ocean.

Ethically made in our workshop in Sheffield our leggings and shorts offer both comfort and flexibility whilst upholding our four guiding principles: to-

• Help protect the environment.
• Promote UK made products.
• Be ethical.
• Help promote women in sports.

The longer length of the shorts means that they fit comfortably underneath a harness, reducing chafing and discomfort on sunny days out sport or trad climbing. 

We are also excited to announce that very soon we will be launching our recycled nylon sports bra range.
Organic Cotton Shorts

Launching very soon is our range of organic cotton shorts. Made from 96% organic cotton and 4% spandex with a wide elasticated waistband, our shorts combine durability with comfort. The 4% spandex gives the cotton a slight stretch which allows for flexibility and movement whilst climbing. We will be offering these in styles for both men and women, and in the autumn a full length trouser for men will be available.

Tops, Tees & What's Next

Also launching soon will be cotton tees for both men and women and long sleeve cotton tops for women. For winter we will be launching a soft shell jacket for both men and women. We have been working hard to develop new products and are really excited to share with you what we have in store.
