Keen climber who enjoys getting out. All disciplines rock and ice, for trad it has to be cracks and offwidths and in winter the iced lines on Ben Nevis/ Creag Meagaidh, rather than the mixed climbing in the Cairngorms.
I coach and instruct at several local centres with 25 years experience.

Outside of climbing I've done a Bob Graham round (22.13hrs solo), AW's Coast to Coast (52hrs moving time) Sea to Sea (in a day 9hrs solo) and the classic Fred Whitton (8hrs).
