A very soft red sandstone quarry located on Great Corby Common and reached in less than a minute by going through the school playground (after 3pm) or by the signed fingerpost from Clints road.
There are several "climbable" walls with one minor classic and another wall above the stream further along, limited leading and bouldering as the rock is very soft almost everywhere! The rock being so soft means it is not climbable during or after wet periods.
Please respect the school by only entering the quarry via the playground after school hours or on weekends. Use the other appoach via Clints road during school time.
In school hours use the Clint Road access. Do not enter through the school playground beforeĀ 3pm.
