Terrain:
A real mixture of dirt paths, loose rocky sections, grassy fields, flagstones and some tarmac. Steep and technical in places, especially coming down Cave Dale and off the Kinder plateau
Seasonal variations:
Much of the route is high and exposed to bad weather. Snow is likely on Kinder in the Winter, but generally the paths should be fine all year around. Some very muddy sections after rain, but no deep bogs
