A tough race organised by Totley AC close to the edge of Sheffield...
This is a long race over some demanding terrain. Mandatory kit includes: windproof whole body cover, map & compass, whistle & food. Hat, gloves & waterproofs may also be required if conditions are bad. Kit checks will be made on the day.

Mostly dirt trails through the heather, with some rocky sections, especially along the top of Stange Edge. Can get pretty muddy in places, but mostly has good drainage. Shorts sections of tarmac.
Bus stops on A621 (Totley, Totley Hall Lane) - see http://www.travelsouthyorkshire.com and train services to Dore station about 3km away
