The long offset groove-line that defines the right-hand side of the wall is an impeccable line with sustained and exposed climbing. Start below the long groove that is reached by scrambling up the right side of Moss Gill, or by climbing the first two pitches of Moss Gill.
1) 18m. Climb the groove, past some grass and an overhang, to a small stance and belay just above it in the corner.
2) 4c, 23m. Move a short way up the corner until thin moves lead up leftwards to a small ledge on the arete. Move up the arete and narrowing corner to where an easy short traverse right leads to an exposed ledge and belay - 'The Lookout'.
3) 4a, 20m. Climb the slab above, past a square-cut overlap, to a good ledge and belay next to a gully.
4) 25m. Climb the left wall of the gully, moving left to a big ledge. Finish up the wall above (tricky to start). © Rockfax
