Rockfax Description
Fantastically varied and super-sustained climbing on good rock. Start at a short slab below and right of a large tree in a break.
1) 5b, 35m. Move up to the right-hand side of the tree and climb steeply right of it, past the overhang, to a pocketed crack. Move up the crack a short way before striding left and then on up to a flake. Head on up rightwards to a short wall, which leads to a ledge and tree belay.
2) 5b, 40m. Move awkwardly up on the left and go right to a corner that leads to a ledge. Continue in the same line to a big flake that allows a narrow corner to be reached and the finish not far above. © Rockfax
UKC Logbook Description
A superb and surprisingly fast drying route taking the slabs and walls to the L. of Arcturus. Technically easier than its more popular neighbour but more sustained and with finer climbing.
