Hi all,

I need seam sealing tape for my tent- the type which is iron on, and comes in a 20m roll of 25mm wide tape. It's available online but I'm travelling, so delivery will be tricky!

I tried all the outdoor shops in Kendal today and none had any! Does anyone know if there is a shop with some in stock between Kendal and Wick in northern Scotland (where I'm heading next)? Maybe in Fort William?

It looks like it is your lucky day! I have a new, 20mm x something long roll of iron on seam tape, in Kendal. Yours for a fiver?

Can you eventually give us an update on how it went applying the tape etc?

I was going to use iron-on but initial tests proved a bit disappointing. Eventually went with an adhesive tape and seam-sealed the outer with silicone mix.

Sure thing! I'll be cycling John O'Groats to Lands End starting on Friday, so I'm sure it will get well tested!
