Hi,

My other half got given a brand new set of Grivel G12 Crampons by someone who'd bought all the kit a little while back but never got round to using it.

Unfortunately they came with the extra long bars and she needs the standard ones.

Does anyone have a pair of standard ones they'd be willing to sell?

Have you tried switching the bars between the crampons (I.e. left to right). think there's some YouTube vids as i cant rember the details,  but my wife has just done it for a pair of G12s where the bars were too long for her boots.

In reply to BikingLampy: As I use the XL size Ive got an unused pair of the standard ones that you can have if you drop £5 in an MRT box

Yes it would be perfectly possible to cut them down, but sourcing the right part would be a better answer, which it looks like is a thing!
