I think I had a pair of those purple and yellow boots in the late eighties. Were they called Mariachers or something?

La Sportiva Mariacher the iconic red and purple high cut. It was one of the first sticky rubber range. I had them resoled by Eric's cafe Stoney Middleton but they became detached again!

I thought they were Mariachers. Much more comfortable than the earlier Fires.
