Ramblers Re-brands

Walking charity the Ramblers has today unveiled a new logo, part of a revamped visual identity for the organisation which has been campaigning for access and encouraging people to enjoy walking since 1935.

"Our new identity presents the Ramblers as the inclusive, vibrant community we are, unified by an important cause" said Carol Flint, Head of Brand for the Ramblers. "We're delighted to share it with the world – it reflects that we're so much more than a lifestyle club for walkers."

Using a bold typeface and earthy colours that echo the tones of the outdoors, the logo symbolises an open path and is, they say, "rooted in the idea of 'opening the way' for everyone to walk however they choose".

The new identity is intended to help the organisation engage more widely. It also gives a single branding to all aspects of the Ramblers' work by uniting national organisations and local groups, and bringing the Ramblers Wellbeing Walks network of shorter 'health' walks fully into the Ramblers community.
