Suileag bothy in Assynt will be unavailable in the first week of September.

A Mountain Bothies Association (MBA) work party will be undertaking a variety of repairs at the bothy, near Suilven and Canisp , between 31 August and 7 September.

They could still use one or two willing volunteers to lend a hand for the week too.

Workers are also needed for a work party due to be held at Dibidil on Rum 7-11 September, where the windows and door need replacing and general maintenance carried out.
