Jules Cartwright has fallen to his death while guiding in the Alps. He and his client, Julie Colverd, were both killed when they fell from the while climbing the Cassin route up the Piz Badile in Graubuenden on Wednesday morning.
The pair were roped together at an altitude of around 2,590 metres when they slipped during their ascent, according to Nick Banks, president of British Mountain Guides, who has the accident report. Two helicopters and mountain rescue guides were used to recover the bodies.
