Up for a long weekend staying in Aviemore. Was obviously hoping for some winter conditions but other than the gulleys doesn’t seem to be a lot in. Does anyone have any good recommendations as what to get up to (or some secret patches of ice?!)?

Thanks in advance!

All about to turn much colder with snow in the forecast for the next few days.

Central Gully left hand was good a couple of weeks ago. Just link up the snow patches with the areas of frozen turf and icy slabs, at about 2/3.

Crochet gully was good. Hard snow then avoid the blank pitch by a ramp onto the buttress on the right. Go up the buttress on turf and back into the gully at about grade 2.

The Runnel when the last 'Runnel" pitch is bare go's at about 3

Y Gully rt hand gos at about 2/3 when its very thin, and is about the last thing to stay "in".
