Has anyone been up Ben Nevis #4 gully recently and can advise on cornice and general conditions such as if the snow is rock solid ice?

I'm considering soloing it this weekend, but it's a bit of a drive so any info to help decide if it's doable would be most welcome.

I've noticed there have been few logged ascents of the easier gullies recently.

Thanks

Steps had been kicked into cornice last weekend but its steep enough. We descended it without a rope and just the one axe and aren't exactly experienced at winter climbing.

It was skied yesterday.  Deep snow cover. Good slot in a small cornice.

Thank you for the info. I'm not a Facebooker so I rely heavily on info from UKC, SAIS, and the Met Office.

I'm expecting the avalanche forecast to turn with the high temps. The CMD could be a better option, but fingers crossed the forecast remains good 🤞
