In Glencoe yesterday, it felt like spring. There was only snow (in general) on NE faces above 800m. But, that snow was generally great neve. We were on Sgorr Dhearg, where we enjoyed a good grade I snow slope up the NE face to the summit then ambled down a sunny and snow free eastern arete/ridge, but I see from the logs that people were busy on SCNL yesterday and it looked white from the valley as we drove past on the way home.
More generally, much of the snow is gone and, conditions are extremely changeable because the temps are fluttering around freezing, rising above and falling below.
