Hi,

We ( two of us) are in Chamonix and looking for a lift to Gran Paradiso some time soon after the 26th of June. Will pay petrol/tunnel fee return. If only going one way would need to be dropped back somewhere we could get a bus back to Chamonix. Currently at Torino Hut so likely won't reply till down (tomorrow evening).

If you don't get a lift it is possible to get there by public transport. Get the bus to Aosta from Chamonix Sud, ( Or get off at Villeneuve before Aosta) then take the local bus up to Pont from where you can walk to Rifugio Vittorio Emanuele II. ( Or Chabod Hut).
