Hospitality and Catering Assistant post at Malham Tarn Field Centre
Malham Tarn Field Centre is a residential education centre run by the Field Studies Council, a registered charity that has been helping people increase their understanding of the environment through first-hand experience since 1943.
The centre is open all year and customers are looked after by education, admin, maintenance and of course hospitality and catering staff. Around half the staff team live on site in shared houses making it an excellent location for those interested in the outdoors. Great climbing is within walking distance at Malham Cove and Gordale Scar (amongst many other crags), caving and potholing in the area is second to none and the Pennine Way footpath runs right past the front door.
We are looking for someone to join the team as a full-time Hospitality and Catering Assistant on a permanent or temporary basis. Full details of the post and an application form can be downloaded here http://www.field-studies-council.org/vacancies.aspx/ or for any questions please call and speak to Jim Wright on 01729 830331 or email jimwright.mt@field-studies-council.org
Shifts include 3pm finishes and starts giving plenty of opportunities to climb even on work days, so if you fancy a job for a few months over the summer, a year out or permanently then we'd love to hear from you. The centre is a dynamic, busy and friendly place to work so why not give it a go?
