It's been really chilly and damp in the mountains this week. I walked under the Scafell crags yesterday (on way up the Pike), cloud base was about 400m and drizzle most of the day. This eve we have heavy rain in Ambleside, pretty likely it's be even wetter on Scafell. I'd recommend a lower south facing crag for this weekend.
