I've stayed at the campsite at Brooklyn Grange Farm near Thorncliffe with my uni club, bookable on Pitchup, seemed nice enough. Walkable distance to the pub too.
Approx 6 weeks ago it was definately still shut - when I was up there 2 weeks ago it seemed like there were a handful of tents on there although all seemd to be a single party so maybe a private booking ??
This place seems pretty good - I've not stayed there yet but had a look round on the way home a few weeks ago - 10 / 15 mins walk to either of 2 pubs and 1.5Km walk to the roaches / Hen Cloud https://www.facebook.com/campingatthehollies/
