Probably one for the mods?

Is it possible to use the log books to see the number of different crags that I or others have climbed at over the years?

We were discussing it the other day where someone said they had climbed at 5 different crags whereas we probably would be nearer to 500. Would be good to see either way.

You can do it by downloading your logbook into excel, create a pivot table with crag name as a data field, from there you can count the number of rows or do more excel wizardry to get a formula to do that for you.  

Thanks for that, so I think that the total is 601 different crags but some of these are probably just summits of hills rather than actual crags.

I wonder if the mods could add this onto the graphs section in logbooks somehow?

In the spreadsheet you can sort by grade and then delete out the summits before you set up the pivot table.
