What is the most beautiful section climbing Kilimanjaro through these routes:

Marangu route

Climbing Kilimanjaro Mountain via Marangu route (Coca Cola route) will make you enjoy different Fauna and Flora with unique scenery. The first day will make you walk in Montana Forest which is thick. This means there is a possibility of seeing wild animals like Black and white Colobus Monkeys and Blue Monkeys. Then there are plenty of different birds’ species.

NOTE; The most beautiful sections in this route are Lauo Waterfalls, Maundi crater, Mawenzi ridge and Zebra Rocks. Trekking Kilimanjaro through the Marangu route is also considered as a luxury climbing Mount Kilimanjaro because accommodation is on extra comfort Mountain huts. 

DIFFICULT SECTION: The only challenging section in this route is from Kibo the base camp to the summit. It is 6km from base camp to the summit. The first part from Kibo to Gilmans point which is 4Km is most challenging. It is steep, so lot of energy is needed this place. Because of occasional windly and freezing, our guides helps our visitors on proper cover such as wind jacket, and summit pants.

Rongai Route

This route is located on the North-East side of the Kilimanjaro Mountain. It is also close to  Amboseli National park on the Northside of Kenya. This makes this route to have animals like Elephants, Lions Leopard, Blue Monkeys, Black and white Colobus Monkeys etc which are migrating from Amboseli National to seek their food while Amboseli is dry. Rongai route is considered a trail without crowd climbers, and a private Kilimanjaro expeditions.

NOTE; The most beautiful section in this route is nice view/scenic from Second cave campsite, A natural pool at Turn hut campsite, Caves (second cave and third cave). Kilimanjaro Second volcano peak is Mawenzi and can be seen easily from Saddle Hut camp on Rongai route.

DIFFICULT SECTION: This is the same as Marangu route because Rongai route you start your climbing from Naremuru/Rongai gate and descending through Marangu gate both route we summit from the Kibo base camp.

Lemosho Route

This route is located on the Western side of the Kilimanjaro Mountain. It is about two hours driving from Moshi town. This route also is considered to the alternative of Shira route. It is less crowded route compared to the other routes liken Machame route and Marangu route. This route is one of the route with the best scenic. This route has high rate of success to get to the summit it is about 85% of success. It suits people who has no experience in climbing mountains with high altitude because it has gentle slope. This makes people to acclimatize slowly slowly. 

NOTE: The most beautiful section in this route is Cathedral, Shira Plateau, Lava Tower, Barranco wall and The top of Barranco wall. Lemosho route has an exclusive savannah environment, and some big mammals like Giraffe, gazelle, Zebra, Elephants wonder at the lower slopes before getting to Londorosi gate.

DIFFICULTY SECTION: It is considered Barranco wall is the challenging section in this route because of its steepness. It become much worse when it rains. Then this section the first part you have to trek by using your legs and hands until you pass through the kissing stone.

Machame Route, 

The trek begins at Machame gate, located in the southern side of the Mountain. This is about one hour driving from Moshi town. This is nicknamed as a Whisky route. It is suitable for the people who have an experience of climbing mountains. It is not suitable for beginners.

NOTE: The most beautiful section in this route is Shira ridge, Shira Cave, Lava Tower, Barranco wall, The top of Barranco wall.

DIFFICULTY SECTION: The same as Lemosho route.
