Read enough to know I'd have one in a heartbeat. The portability combined with image quality (according to almost all reviews I've seen) equivalent or better than a lot of full frame cameras make it look very attractive to me, I'l just not take a dSLR and lens approaching a kilo onto the hills. Maybe not a sports camera but for portraits and landscape it seem like the very fellow for the job. I own an X10 and the jpegs on it are fabulous as it's user interface, the screen shots from the XF-E1, look very similar. My only concern is the RAW processing in LR and Aperture, but apparently the jpegs are really fabulous.
If I could get anyything close to £1200 for my Canon gear I'd dump it in a minute and get this camera.
