This thread: https://www.ukhillwalking.com/forums/ukc/marmot_photography_awards_2019-723713

comes top of my list, even though the last post was Sunday.

Whereas this thread:  https://www.ukhillwalking.com/forums/lifts+partners/swanage_5th_or_6th_sept-72...

is second, with a post this evening.

Why?

And a brand new thread is alos slotted in under the (rather under-loved) photography one.

In reply to Removed UserBilberry:

Not sure inthis case but if someone makes a new post but then deletes that post it may still bring the thread artificially to th3 top of the pile

In reply to idiotproof (Buxton MC):

I have a strong feeling that that "bug/feature" was "fixed" some years ago when people were in the habit of bumping threads (usually trivia/humour ones) by posting "bump" (or any loren ipsum text) and then deleting it immediately.

* this may be made up facts, "alternative truths" as they are know in the corridors of power.
