Well,I was smelling a bit fruity and Being slightly nuts as I had some dough I thought I’d add spice to my life by having my cake and eat it. Then I ran out of ideas.

I've had Paasbrood in Holland at Easter, very similar to stollen. Lekker!

That said, I still have some from last Christmas, mainly because I am working away from home during the week and the girls are off to uni, and both my mother and mother in law decided that this means we need four stollens (plural?) each for the family instead of one....

I'll admit to being a Stollen fan but I resist the temptation until the winter season starts (gluhwein isn't my thing). My wife is a doctor and gets all sort of luxury ones in parcels from patients and pharma companies. With real marzipan please!

Stollen is uncountable so the plural is also stollen unless you are talking about different sorts in which case stollens.
