due to very strong wind on top of Fingers Ridge in T-Sneachda I had to leave last piece of gear white and red sling with locking carabiner. If anyone manage to find it please let me know. Bear for the finder Fingers Ridge (IV 5)
genuine question - why did the strong wind mean leaving a sling? did you bail into the gully? i was up there recently and was wondering how that would have worked as a retreat option.
Yeah I took it from the left gully to speed up the top out. Snow was soo deep and soft so I'm not sure it was easier and faster way but definitely more secured from the wind.
