Just returned from a trip up Bosley Cloud (a modest hill on the edge of the Cheshire plains). The steps by the carpark made me realise I was less fit than expected, breathing pretty hard by the top of them. But then settled into a good pace. Got wet through. Hail, rain, pretty strong winds and yes, some sun. My dog (that I'd borrowed for the day) loved it as well, really in his element. I believe we're in for a fortnight of sun so I'm glad to have got out in fresher weather and here endeth my post (posted to Hilltalk - a tenuous proffering, I'm aware!).
