I tried to get to submit of Durham Edge from the access land but no route apparently available other than climbing a wall fitted with barbed wire and dodging gliders on the airfield.
Is there a legit route, or do you have to sneak up when the gliders aren't flying?
From Bamford take path that goes up to Robin Hoods Cross south half way up slight path on right leads into farm track and Across Dead Man's Clough you will keep losing the path but it does come out above Great Hucklow.
You can also go from Robin Hoods Cross SK 183 802 up bleak knowl footpath first on the right of wall to a stile then on the left of wall to the gliding club land then it's back over that wall leaving footpath to get to Durham edge, it's quite a nice path in the spring.
