Have router, getting wood, want to make my own custom hangboard, but was interested in the BM dimensions and was told they were available online - not just the overall dimensions but the depth of pockets, angle of slopers, width of pockets e.t.c
Probably somwwhere in the "back issues" of their blog - I half remember reading something about the spec.s of various incarnations before we got the 1000 and 2000 series.
On this note, is this a silly plan? I.e if i'm making my own fingerboard, why not just make, say, the four finger pockets the exact size and depth of my four fingers on each hand to the second knuckle?
Why not just screw some rails to a board, you can plane them to any angle and depth and radius you need. It's easier to finish since you're not sanding in a pocket and it's easier to re-work until it suits you.
I have since but a step in the bottom rung (so its set back) to insure better wrist postion, I asked on here for depths but in the end just made it to my own finger measurements. not as sweet as proper one but does the job.
