I am a female of average weight/height and a cold sleeper. I am looking for a 3/4 season down bag mostly for UK conditions. I would like to use it for backpacking in area like Dartmoor and the Lakes in our colder conditions.
I do own a 1 season very light weight bag - so I would consider purchasing the slightly lighter 3 season bags and shove the 1 season inside like a liner if it is really cold.
My boyfriend is also on the hunt for a bag. His requirements are similar but he is 6'7"... and does not own a super light weight summer bag.
Any recommendations... thinking £200-£350 so a broad price range there (but the lower the better.)
I bought a 3 season rab neutrino..lightweight, hydrophobic but cold in the toe..checking out if this is normal as a good bag otherwise in your price range..and I am a cold sleeper..its done me well this year in alps..packs small

I sleep cold too and have been through a number of sleeping bags, I seem to have ended up with a couple of Cumulus - can't fault them.
I would go to PHD if i was you http://www.phdesigns.co.uk/sleeping-bags you buy direct from them & can customise your bag to your size. The quality of the product is second to none & worth the outlay in my opinion

Plus 1. They are also very light and compress down well without losing insulation when re-lofted.
