I will be in Sydney in mid October this year. Wondering if anyone out there has any contacts for a climbing school or guide in Sydney. Am just looking at one day and will only have rock boots with me, so will need someone with all gear. Ideal would be multi pitch and not above UK Severe (have not done much rock climbing for several years). Any advice or contacts would be much appreciated. Thanks. Andrew

I'd call the climbing wall in central Sydney, they will have a guide on their lists. 

Multi pitch is really only in the Blue Mountains but not much at severe level. In the Sydney area it's sandstone and most of its is harder than the grades you're looking for.

You can get to Katoomba easily on the train, no car needed. There are some two or three pitch trad routes at around 13-16 but not a lot (the Warrumbungles are better for that ) as most people sport climb now.
