Well, at least the one in Washington state seems to be interesting as well.

Generally it's not too cold in the day, above freezing sometimes. But at night it gets down to -85C so take some extra layers. The almost total vacuum can be challenging too, you'll need a full pressure suit.

There's a big hut half way up. Most people walk to the first peak, the highest peak requires a scramble about gd 2. Take nothing or whatever you would use for a 2.

It’s mostly a long walk, with a scramble at the top. Mytikas is very polished, which can make the descent a bit tricky. There’s quite a bit of loose rock at the top too so watch out for other parties (there were quite a lot of inexperienced people up there kicking blocks down when I was there). If wet might be worth taking a rope as the polished descent is rather slippery. There are bolts all the way up. It’s probably grade 1/2 scramble.

you can walk from the town to the hut in a day, takes about 10 hours, bit of a slog through thebtrees but some nice scenery. Taxis are can be called from pironia on the way down which saves time. 

food is cheap, the hut is nice 👌
