Hi. Anybody been on Gran Paradiso recently? Going in two weeks and wonder whether Chabod or Vittorio Emanuele would be better option.

Almost certainly VE if you can get in. The Chabod route is quite crevassed at the best of times. 

I spent a couple of days looking across at it last week. Can't tell you much about conditions but there certainly seemed to be plenty of people doing it.
