Due to last minute change of plan, thinking of going to Toubkal area next week. Anyone been there recently? Able to update on conditions please? Net search not proving very fruitful. Many thanks in advance. 

A colleague at work is going next week and has just been told by the local guiding company that there is a lot of snow so they are changing his itinerary.  Note he is a walker and not aiming for a winter ascent.

I climbed Toubkal on the 7th of March this year. There was a lot of snow, snow line well below the huts. It was okay reaching the huts without crampons, but probably easier with. Any walking around the huts and ascents required crampons and axe. We had two days of low cloud, wind and generally poor visibility. Summit day was completely clear with relatively little wind.
