Was going to post this in the film thread which had started to focus on The Wire, probably to the annoyance of the odd purist, but this is just a heads up to anyone not familiar with Deadwood.
The series was one of the best, easily up there with The Wire, but was curtailed at the end of S3 with all sorts of loose ends since it was planned to be a five series run (I think).
Now there is a one off film/TV film being filmed to tidy it all up and McShane looks as good as ever in the still I saw. Most of the original cast are involved and I do hope that the dialogue has lost none of its baroque pithiness.
Good time to catch up if you're a novice.
