I saw the ads for series 2. I didn't know anything about the first series so decided to catch up and watched all the episodes last night - odd, funny, sad, superb.
I missed this first time round (probably buried in The People vs OJ Simpson or similar Netflix original) but I've been a fan of Julian Barratt since the line "Yorkshire is a state of mind". I'll play catch up. Thanks for the tip.
Finding it hard to get into the new series (got halfway through the first episode) and I agree the first series was one of the best things on TV. Seems to have lost its pathos.
