Just rewatched The Conversation (a few decades after the last time). Still highly impressive and resonant with the paranoia of the times in which it was made. Highly recommended.
Now this one is sure to be marmite but I enjoy Wes Anderson films. I somehow missed this one until now and although not his best I knew I would like it (and it was better than I expected): stuff the dismissive critics. The loving tributes to Cousteau and Bowie are just a bonus.

Rewatched The Machinist last night, remarkable not least because Christian Bale is about twice the size 6 months later for Batman Begins.
