Suicide Rock is a great location - above the 'town' of Lone Pine - all very Californian Old West. This climb is very steep - Fred led it well, after taking a couple of rests, and I seconded it. I was pleased to do it quite smoothly because the smoothness of the granite (compared with grit) was a bit disconcerting. There is a classic 5.8 Flowewr of High Rank just to the right - apparently Gordon Stainforth and his brother John climbed this many moons ago. Small world!

how random, i've also done this route and Flower of High Rank, both brilliant. Thanks for the picture nice memories!
