I like the fact that my hand obscures my face in this photo (I'm sure many other people do too!) - just seems to focus the eye on The (desperately slapping) Hand. I didn;t actually 'send' it ion this occasion, but went back early one cold crisp Autumn morning and amazed myself by latching the top hold - but then, with success in the bag, a terrible 5 minutes ensued struggling to top out, as, somehow, my chalkbag had moved to the front and was snagging me on the lip of the top :( PS The pool beneath the arete seems to have been drained since. So hardly 'Splashdown' any more.
