The Gorge du Blavet is a magical spot. White towers spring from a pine-clad ravine - the air is heavy with the scent of pines and herbes du Provence & the incessant trill of cicadas (cigalles). On the walk-in to the gorge are a few boulders (shame there aren't a few more), because at 6 in the morning (cool enough to climb) not a soul around, it's a wonderful place to greet the day before returning to the tent or caravan for coffee and croissants with fruit.
