It was an odd moment, we had just topped out. It was my first winter route and I expected a slog up to the summit, but the summit was right there. The spin drift stopped and the sun came out. Didn't quite make up for the spindrift down the neck though!

Lol yep - your expression reminds me of a typical Cairngorm plateau top-out moment: "F*** me that wind's cold!!"
