Good to see folk getting into the remoter crags. It's well worth the walk-in eh?

Never been there before Dave so I kinda enjoyed the walk in (ish) and just wowing at the hills etc, the walk out however..........now that was hell, lol! Def worth it though aye :o)

Good stuff. It's a stunning crag, in amazing surroundings. Aye, I know what you mean by the walk out...it seems neverending (and we took bikes in half the way too!).

Haha, yeah neverending sounds about right! Once at Martha's Peak I thought, 'not long now to the forestry bit, hah! aye right!....' and then once through the forest I thought, 'ah.....just along the road to the carpark, aaaaaaaarggggggg!' I would have killed for a bike then (if my wee legs could have managed to cycle by that point, lol!) Simply stunning though indeed, def be back up there, and in summer too I bet it's just beautiful to climb up on Carnmore and swim in the loch :o)

The climbing on Carnmore is sensational, not sure about the swimming in the loch though!! the quality of the climbing around there compensates for that shitehole of a 'bothy'.

Was that double 'bed' there when youz were there last winter? The one that looks like it contains unspeakable diseases and fleas and lice etc?

Nice one. Did you see Andy's footsteps from the day before going onto Tower Ridge or had you decided to do this buttress anyway?

We were gonna do Tower Ridge as well!! Just as well we didn't........didn't see any footprints but a bit of snow fell through Sat night so they were covered. What did TR go at then? We thought it looked a wee bitty harder than our line, but very nice though.
Ewwwwwww, you slept on that bed, you must hae the feichs, lol!
