Is this "Coire nan Leac" or "Coire na Lice"? Sorry to be a pedant but I'm into these things ;-)

Nominative! (Typing error corrected.) I seem to remember 'leac' occurs at least once elsewhere on this ridge line. A number of possible naming reasons are apparent. Not only are there numerous erratics in this corrie but these are added to with many marker stones on the way from the gorge up to the base of the faint ridge that disappears out of shot in the top right. Also, along the same route, and below in Coire Odhar, there are many large areas of smooth exposed rock.

Nice photo - we camped here one Easter a few years back on a backpack coming up from Glen Quoich to the south. It was about the only dry(ish) place for a tent. Passed below some interesting looking crags - see http://www.geograph.org.uk/browse.php?p=726788 Anything done on them - it's a long walk in?

Probably not. Most of the interest around there is in the corries on the north side in winter.
