While the chosen category is "bouldering", this is not to be confused with what most boulderers do.

I find this equally difficult. I just cant seem to get my left foot up high enough to get the next hold.

This is because your not wearing a trilby!

I cant afford the extra weight, my extra poundage is technically an injury dont forget!

There is a special way, it only requires a tiny adjustment..........

Most people seem to be suggesting layingback the first moves and getting your right foot up on a smear before going for the higher side-pull

If you want a spot then I need to do trackside, so give me an email

Layback the two sidepulls, right hand on the higher one. Left foot on one of the higher edges, right on nothing, stand up so your weight is over to the right. Left hand up to the lower hold in the crack, step through onto highest edge with right foot (balancy - crux), left foot up to the good ledge. Reach smugly to the jug. Works every time (the tall can also annoy those lacking in height by missing out the jug).

At least 5 more failures today in perfect conditions - at least got a bit closer to reaching the second crack with my right foot on the high slopy break. Might have helped if I had any skin left from Razor Roof Right Hand and had not thrown myself rather a lot at Trackside first I guess :-o
