Certainly is impressive, where taken from? I've only once been able to make out the Snowdonia peaks from that distance - can't remember whether it was from Teggs Nose or Windgather but it was wintertime - no chance of good enough visibility in summer

We were flying into Manchester Barton Airport so its taken from somewhere over Stretford / Sale. 500mm and cropped on a perfectly clear cold day. Warrington's St Elphin's Church lower right, Fiddlers Ferry power station in the mid ground, Mersey Gateway Bridge on the left with Liverpool Airport control tower behind.
