Do you know why they cut all the trees down? I was there in the summer and found it really depressing!

Wow, that really is a dramatic change. Funnily enough I clicked on this wondering what problem it was, as it looked great - turns out I'd already done it!

Forestry Commission I presume - you got to hand it to them, they really know how to cut down trees and leave the ground in a state so that you'd never even know there used to be trees there :-(

It’s not the FC. The woodland is managed by the private company Scottish Woodlands.
