User Comments

Photo taken by Ken Jackson.
A rare ascent not because of its difficulty but because it is normally running with water! Spring / early summer 1968 was unusually warm and dry... climbers flocked to Scafell to take advantage of several weeks of exceptionally dry conditions, resulting in many repeats and several excellent new routes.
