After I repeated this I realised how crazy early climbers really were. I'd done other lines here previously but never Kern Knotts Crack. Memorable!

Old photos previously posted on UKC last year. Did a photo project for my dads 80th birthday in November last year by re-creating the old photos and mounting them in a frame for him. Thought it would give context by re posting the old shots and the modern ones. Dad early 20's when the shots of him were taken, me 59 when I my shots were taken. Thought it would give others with dads who have climbed ideas for pressies. Such fun in re-creating them!

What a great idea, like them a lot. I'm not quite so up trying to recreate my dads golf and fishing photos.
