My 1st two guidebooks, bought in 1977 for £1.20 and £1.30. The Pembroke Guide at 160 pages seems to suggest that there just might be scope for a bit more development hereabouts. The fantastic Red Wall on the cover, although perhaps a little tilted.

Things of beauty. Am I right in saying that the Drummond guide had some sort of funky grading system? Never held a copy in my hands, but always been intrigued by it.

Hi Rob, this has the standard grading system - I think that the strange and complicated grading was the guide before this (also by Drummond) and was not continued.
